De Bedstee Boutique Capsules (Adults Only) Hotel - Amsterdam

Adults-only capsule hotel with Dutch vintage design, steps from Amsterdam's Museum Quarter

Capsule Rooms

De Bedstee Boutique Capsules offers a Dutch vintage twist on the Japanese capsule concept, with plush bedding and customizable LED mood lighting in each capsule. The capsules provide soundproofing that isolates guests from dormitory noise, while a lockable door and included bathrobes add a hotel-like experience. A daily housekeeping service replaces towels and robes, and the adults-only policy ensures a quiet, undisturbed sleep environment.

On-Site Dining

The hotel's on-site restaurant serves a daily breakfast with vegan options, including Dutch meatballs, honey cake, and pancakes under a buffet format. Guests must book breakfast in advance to avoid a surcharge, and the bar offers hot chocolate and coffee for purchase. The dining area doubles as a lounge where guests can eat takeaway food, provided they buy a drink from the bar to use the cutlery and microwave.

Prime Location

De Bedstee Boutique Capsule Hotel sits behind the Concertgebouw, a 2-minute walk from the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum, and 5 minutes from Vondelpark. The airport bus stop for line 397 to Schiphol Airport is directly outside the hotel, and the number 12 tram stops around the corner for city-center access. Bicycle rental is available at the hotel, offering a direct route to Dam Square and the Leidseplein entertainment area within 15 minutes.

Adults-Only Tranquility

The hotel enforces a quiet-hours policy after 10 PM and restricts guests to ages 18 and older, creating a calm environment conducive to rest. Sex-segregated bathrooms with fully enclosed showers and toilets are cleaned daily, and the capsules' soundproofing minimizes noise from hallways and stairs. A reading lounge and bar area provide social space without disrupting the dormitory quiet.

Practical Amenities

A luggage storage room is available for free during the stay, but a fee applies for storage after checkout. The hotel provides a €50 cash or €100 card deposit for potential damages, returned within 1 business day after checkout. Free portable Mi-Fi devices are offered per room, and an electric vehicle charging station is available on-site.
